Robert Turner is an accomplished innovation strategy leader, with a strong track record in building inclusive innovation ecosystems and social impact entrepreneurship. He is currently serving as Director of Technology Transfer and Innovation at Tennessee State University in the United States, he has dedicated his career to integrating leading go-to-market strategies and inclusive innovation to drive economic growth in communities around the world. Working with regional leaders in academia, government, and industry, he identifies, and cultivates latent intellectual capital and know-how to create sustainable, capital efficient high-growth enterprises solving the world’s leading challenges in human development.
Robert has supported over 100 entrepreneurs and technologies from idea-stage to market. He has collaborated with executives at leading organizations, including the American Society of Mechanical Engineer’s Foundation Engineering for Change, LLC, National Society of Black Engineers, and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, to address strategic challenges in regional economic development, inclusive innovation, and technology commercialization.
